CLEVELAND -- City Councilman Zack Reed learns his fate today after he was recently convicted of drunken driving.

Reed will be sentenced at 10 a.m. -- just two weeks after a jury found him guilty.

Reed faces up to six months in prison.

In March, Reed was pulled over in downtown Cleveland at East 9th Street and Rockwell Avenue after police say he ran a red light and made an illegal turn.

Reed claimed during the trial that officers had smelled Listerine, not alcohol. He refused a breath test.

This marks Reed's third offense after previously being convicted of driving under the influence in 2005 and 2008.
