CLEVELAND -- Crews began demolishing the two houses on either side of Ariel Castro's former residence on Seymour Avenue around 7:30 a.m. MOnday.

The demolitions will be ongoing throughout the day, said Gus Frangos, Cuyahoga Land Bank President.

Reports have called for the lots to be converted into a community park or garden.
