Medina: Sheriff issues travel advisory

MEDINA -- Hazardous roadways have prompted the Medina County Sheriff to issue a travel alert.

Sheriff Tom Miller has issued a level one snow emergency for Medina County.

The dispatcher for the sheriffs department says a level one emergency means that roadways are hazardous and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while driving. There is a potential for blowing or drifting snow and icy roads.

No serious accidents have been reported in the county but there are some reports of vehicles in ditches.

Also south of Cleveland, Wadsworth has issued a snow parking ban.
