CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Horseshoe Casino lost power early Thursday morning.
A casino spokeswoman confirmed that the entire Higbee Building lost power overnight, but the casino is on backup generators Thursday morning.
Only slot machines on the second floor are affected.
At one point, only the first floor had backup power, but the second and third floors had generator power in place just before 6:30 a.m.
It is not clear exactly when the outage started. Casino workers have identified the problem and are working with Terminal Tower officials and FirstEnergy to fix the issue.
FirstEnergy says it has crews standing by to re-energize once repairs are made.
