CLEVELAND -- 75 patrol officers have been found in violation of departmental rules and regulations in the Nov. 29 police pursuit that left two people dead.
That conclusion was made following administrative review of the incident.
City officials will be holding a 10:30 a.m. press conference Friday at Cleveland Police Headquarters to further discuss details.
WKYC.com will stream this press conference live.
Mayor Frank Jackson will be joined by Police Chief Michael McGrath and Public Safety Director Martin Flask to discuss the circumstances.
On the night of the deadly pursuit, Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were killed when police fired 137 shots at their vehicle following a lengthy chase.
Neither Russell nor Williams was armed.
In June, one police supervisor was fired with two others demoted for their actions. Eight other supervisors were disciplined.
In February, Attorney General Mike DeWine declared a review indicated the chase and shooting was the result of a "systemic failure of the Cleveland Police Department."
