EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The family of Anglea Deskins, one of the three women found dead in East Cleveland over the weekend, describe her as a beautiful, sweet, kind hearted woman.
Her sister, Catana Deskins, released the following statement:
"Angela Deskins was a beautiful, sweet, kind hearted woman. She was raised in Novelty, Ohio by her father Robert Deskins and her step-mother Linda Deskins. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and aunt who truly cared about her family and friends. She is loved so much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Our family would appreciate privacy during this time."
Deskins -- listed as victim #2 -- was one of three bodies found wrapped in plastic garbage bags in an East Cleveland neighborhood.
Authorities released her identity at a press conference Monday morning.
Deskins was listed in the Northeast Ohio Missing Persons Database effective July 1, 2013.
The press conference held by city officials was part of an investigation surrounding 35-year-old Michael Madison, a registered sex offender now charged with aggravated murder and kidnapping.
Police exclusively told WKYC early Monday that Madison had confessed to one of the killings. Authorities also say Madison has been cooperative.
The other two victims have not yet been identified.
