Akron: Man killed in overnight traffic crash

AKRON -- A fifty-two year old man died in a single car accident early Friday morning.

Authorities say around 2:15 a.m.,  they were called to Coventry Street and Lafollette Street to investigate a crash.

They found 52 year old Mark E. Luster from Cuyahoga Falls had been involved in an accident.

According to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, Luster was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango northbound on Coventry Street  in Akron.

He apparently went through a stop sign at Lafollette Street and struck a concrete retaining wall on the north side of the intersection.

Luster was taken to Akron City Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
