Lorain County: Two dead in Sunday night crash

EATON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Alcohol is suspected in a crash that killed two people in Eaton Township Sunday night.

Timothy Keating, 47, of North Ridgeville, was driving north on Reed Road, north of Brokaw Road, when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the right side of the road.

Keating was thrown from the car. His passenger, Paul Sonego, 55, of North Ridgeville was partially ejected from the car.

Both men died at the scene.

The car, a 1965 Chrysler New Yorker, was only equipped with lap belts. Both men were wearing them at the time of the crash.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
