CLEVELAND -- A stretch of East 9th Street is closed for nearly a week as part of a paving project downtown.

East 9th Street was closed at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 between Euclid and Prospect avenues.

The closure will last through Saturday, Aug. 17.

Traffic is being detoured via Euclid Avenue, East 14th Street, and Prospect Avenue.

Local access to adjacent properties will be maintained.

Due to heavy traffic volume, delays are expected and commuters are asked to plan accordingly.
