CARLISLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A man who allegedly pointed a shotgun at Lorain County Sheriff's deputies is barricaded inside of a shed in Carlisle Township overnight, officials say.
The incident began at 7:12 p.m. Monday on Robson Road when deputies attempted to serve two contempt of court warrants.
Sheriff's officials say when they arrived at the home, Kelley Boros, 42, ran into a shed and came back out brandishing a long gun. He then went back into the shed.
Deputies took cover and called Lorain County SWAT.
Broso remains holed up in the shed into the early morning hours Tuesday.
Officials have maintained contact with Boros throughout the night, but he refuses to come out. Deputies are fairly certain that he does not have a hostage.
The Lorain County Sheriff's Department says it is using all peaceful means at its disposal to bring an end to the situation.
The warrants the deputies were serving were related to drug abuse, stealing an I.D. and domestic violence.
