CLEVELAND -- The 8-year-old boy who was the focus of an Amber Alert issued early Monday morning has been found in Huron County.
Cleveland Police say the child, suspect and suspect's vehicle were located on Cleveland Road by the Erie County Sheriff's Office and Huron Police.
"The child is in good health and unharmed," Cleveland Police say.
The Amber Alert -- was issued before 6 a.m. -- has been canceled.
The initial report indicated Kevin Criss Jr. was last seen at a home on West Boulevard in Cleveland.
The boy was allegedly taken by Kevin Criss Sr. -- his non-custodial, 36-year-old father. Police say he had taken the child from a family member and reportedly told others he was going to California.
Police say Criss Sr. has been placed under arrest.
They were reportedly traveling in a gold 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan with Ohio license plate FOA 3605.
