CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Police are investigating a downtown shooting that left one man dead and woman injured early Saturday.
The shooting happened at the intersection of West 3rd street and Frankfort Avenue near Public Square.
According to police a large fight broke out inside Club 55 Nightclub at 55 Public Square. The fight moved outside and thats when several shots were fired.
Police say one man was shot in his back and a woman was shot in the ankle. Both were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center shortly after 2:30 a.m.
Police stopped cars, including a party bus and individuals finding multiple weapons.
Homicide Detectives are currently interviewing those people.
