Broadview Heights: Crash closes I-77 North, 2 dead

BROADVIEW HEIGHTS -- Authorities have closed I-77 North at the Turnpike (I-80) due to a crash near Route 82 in Broadview Heights.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office says at least two people are dead in the crash, which involves multiple vehicles.

Motorists are being asked to use alternate routes as they cannot enter I-77 North at Route 82. Drivers should use Wallings Road or Pleasant Valley Road to access I-77 North.

There's no estimate available on how long the roadway will remain closed.
