AKRON -- A man convicted of killing three men by luring them with a bogus job offer will learn his punishment this morning.

The jury that convicted Richard Beasley last month has recommended to the judge that he be put to death for his crimes. The judge will sentence Beasley in a hearing scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.  Members of the victims' families are expected to address the court.

Judge Lynne Callahan can choose to impose the jury's will and sentence Beasley to death or she can reduce the sentence to life in prison.

The three victims were lured to their deaths by a phony job posting on Craigslist for a farmhand job in eastern Ohio. A fourth victim escaped.

A teenage co-defendant, Brogan Rafferty, is serving a life prison term after his conviction last fall. Rafferty was under the age of 18 at the time of the murders and not eligible for the death penalty.
