MEDINA COUNTY -- State Route 3 is closed between Good Road and Chippewa Road south of the City of Medina after an accident involving a truck carrying ashphalt and a car.
A dispatcher with Montville Township tells WKYC that the asphalt truck has overturned as a result of the crash.
The truck driver is trapped and police and EMS are working to free him from the wreckage.
A medical transport helicopter is en route.
The asphalt tanker is leaking but there are no evacuations. Hazmat teams are also on the scene.
Police say the road could be closed for up to eight hours.
Motorists are strongly urged to avoid the area.
