Garfield Heights: Boy gets away from abductor

GARFIELD HEIGHTS -- Police searched the Warner Road area for a man who tried to abduct a boy Monday morning.

Police said a white male, in his late forties to early fifties grabbed a boy.

The boy was able to get away.

Police are looking for a suspect who may be driving a dark blue Chevy minivan, model year late 1990s or early 2000s.

The van didn't have hubcaps.

The suspect was wearing glasses and was last seen traveling on Warner Road.

Police searched the Warner Road area and wanted to see if businesses had surveillance video.
