Winter Storm Warning for Ashtabula counties until 7 pm Saturday.
Winter Weather Advisory for Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Lake, Geauga, Trumbull, Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Portage, Stark and Holmes counties through 4PM this afternoon.
The worst of the storm is over for most of us here in Northeast Ohio. There is still a winter storm warning for Ashtabula, where some additional snow can fall ( 1-4 inches) but this warning along with the snow threat will expire at 7 pm.
Most of Northeast Ohio is still under a winter weather advisory until 4 pm. This is due to the windy conditions expected today which could lead to blowing/drifting snow. That intern, could lead to reduced visibilities and make travel a little more hazardous.
Expect temperatures in the mid 30s with northerly winds, 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.
Saturday: Early snow showers east will taper off. Partly sunny. Windy. Low/mid 30s. Winds: 15-25 mph, Gusts to 45 mph.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy, breezy and cold. Mid 20s. Winds: N 5-15 mph.
Sunday: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Mid 30s.
Monday: Increasing clouds with snow showers moving in. A wintry mix is possible at times. Mid 30s
Christmas Day: Partly cloudy. Low/mid 30s
Wednesday: Cloudy with snow showers developing. Snow could be heavy at times, especially later in the day. Breezy. Low 30s
Thursday: Snow continues early, then tapers off. Partly cloudy late. Near 30
Friday: Mostly sunny. Low 30s
