BRATENAHL -- Years ago they were dumped in Lake Erie and have been in the murky depths ever since. Today, a photo popped up on a local blog showing that bricks from the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium have returned to the surface from their watery grave.
According to the blog post, the bricks washed up on the shore in Bratenahl after Superstorm Sandy swirled through the area earlier this week.
The discovery of the bricks came from one of the employees who was out to snap photos of the lake. We're told that the bricks were quickly taken from the scene as souvenirs.
